How do you set the ICOM config?
I read somewhere that you put a text file on a USB and put it into ICOM?

Please someone give me details: USB format (FAT32?), config file type....

RE: Programming KOMBI and NBT fails on F series
I'm still having issues with updating Kombi in an F82 using e-sys.PsdZdata 62.2

I've tried Direct Enet cable using connection via vin. Also tried Icom Next with dchp and router via gateway url and Icom/Ethernet connections with port 50160

All the above connection methods enable general flashing and all coding but won't allow the Kombi or Evo retrofit to program.

I get the finished with error 207 and 206 after about 3 mins, 30 seconds on all methods. No damage is done, just a few errors to clear

I'm using E-sys without the launcher and only implementing bt flash and sw deploy. Also tried E-Sys pro. Nothing seems to make any difference. I get exactly the same problem when trying to flash the NBT2

I'm just concentrating on flashing the Kombi first but getting nowhere fast. I've read through just about every page of info on the difficulties of flashing these modules but it all gets messy with the different combinations of setups.

I don't want to use Ista and not keen to add a dchp server to my laptop that's configured for other things. My router seems to work fine for dchp and connects instantly.

I just need a surefire method for E-Sys via Enet cable or Icom from someone who's experienced a similar problem. Thanks

How to change ICOM network settings:

Put this on blank txt file called "user.settings"

ConnectionMode = STATIC_IP Ip = 192.168.68.85 Netmask = 255.255.255.0 Gateway = 192.168.68.99

1.Set you laptop to static ip: 192.168.68.99

2.Put file user.settings on FAT32 formated USB stick on the root of the stick.

3.Power off ICOM and connect usb stick to it.

4.Power on ICOM with stick connected and you will see the ICOM start falshing red.

5.Wait till all leds is greeen and connect ethernet cable between ICOM and your laptop and disconnect USB stick.

Thanks for that but I'm really looking for a direct cable or Icom (via dchp router if necessary).

I get a good connection via my router now but something is stopping the process at 3 mins 30 seconds.

I'd prefer not to load a dchp server onto my laptop if possible. The router seems to be working fine. Did you have exactly the same problem as me when using a router?

I didnt have problem with a physical router because I have never tried with that. I just prefer to work with the software simulating it.
I have tried with the configuration that I mentioned before in multiple cars flashing the Kombi and NBT unit without any problem

I followed this exactly but it's still saying "finishedWithError" [C207] after 3 mins 30 seconds.

Anyone got anything else I can try?

On I series Intel processors software DHCP don't work. Use externatl DHCP server (roter for exapmle).

RE: Programming KOMBI and NBT fails on F series
I'm still unable to flash Kombi or NBT

I've tried dhpcsrv, two routers, E-net cable, all setup as suggested but no joy. It just fails at around 3 minutes

Some people seem to have success when using e-net using cars Vin. Can someone view my log file to see what's wrong please.
