I am looking for information to install USB to this E63.  I can't find information about it, I don't know if it is possible without COMBOX.  ? Thx.avd.

back in the days , I've done many installations of Dension Gateway 500 , see if you can secure one for a reasonable price if your goal is only to have USB port.

It used to be a great device.

That's the solution.
I have done a couple of those, years back.
Only problem is if CCC is with very old s/w = does not support USB. The it must naturally upgrade.

if you want the original BMW solution, you can retrofit the MULF module and do not need to change the CCC.

If you can, install CIC and combox, the design is much better than the old ccc. First thing I did in my old E63

It is possible to retrofit USB with CCC.
If you part from mulf or ulf it is easy. You connect mulfhigh and USB cable to the module. you add $6FL and encode CCC.

Yep. The only downside is that you need the Y-cable from BMW to make Iphone play music via this thing. Other than that, it works fine.
