Hello,
I have here a E85 where is changed cluster for another.
So I need now entry VIN inside, but I dont know where is located. It look different from E46 or E9x.
Can please somebody help me with that?
New VIN is WBABU51080LW84249

data are ok, Z4 E85 have a short data. I think VIN are located in line 060, but not in sequence. Hope somebody know Z4 clusters and help me with that

Try this:

in EEPROM Located in Line 60: 4C 78 39 20 70 = (4C=L) (78=X) (39=93) (20=02) (70=70)
EEPROM VIN is: LX93027 BMW Z4 2.5si

changed to:
4C 57 48 42 90 = (4C=L) (57=W) (48=84) (42=24) (90=90) which is: LW84249 BMW Z4 3.0si

You have to invert the numbers, but not for the last one which is 70, only BMW E85!
