ElsaWin 4.x error messages:

Error code 80004005:
Solution:
Install brand of DVDs

Error code 80040201:
Solution:
1. Close ELSAWIN.
2. In the Internet Explorer Internet options / advanced the checkmark
- server certificate revocation check *
- on certificate revocation check Remove.
3. Now start ELSAWIN

Error code 80004005:
Solution:
delConfigItem.js Elfi / exec (script on each data DVD available)
as new Elfi-install package (EV. latest data DVD)

Error code 800040154:
Solution:
Only install VC6RedistSetup and then Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1
Redistributable.

Error code code 80040155 for XP)
Solution:
1. ElsaWin uninstall
2. Win XP SP3 install
3. ElsaWin reinstall

Know-how:

It was ElsaWin 4.0 or higher with a brand DVD 8 computer installed on a Windows.
If you want to log the following error message appears: invalid attribute/option identifier after pressing OK comes then a runtime error and the application "ELSAWIN - retail version no longer works".
Proposal of solution:
Start with administrator rights.

Any pictures in the RLF/SLP are displayed.
Possible solution:
svgview.exe Adobe install (v. 3.0)

Unsupported version possible.
Solution:
1. is make sure that the brands of DVDs are installed to date.
(Example: version 3.90 no counters DVD by 2013 can be installed.)
2. I.e., you only have to watch what is to be installed for a brand of DVD.
(Example: a brand of DVD 2/13 cannot be installed when an ElsaWin version 4)

Image may not run on a virtual machine.
Solution:
Pull the content of the images in a folder using drag and drop on the VM.

During the install of branded DVDs on a 64 bit system the following message appears:-is not a valid Win32 application.
Solution:
ElsaWin install on a 32 bit machine E.g. on a VM.
Or use the data readings of a 64 bit version

How do I install the records at ElsaWin?
Solution:
Either mount the image and Setup normal start or unzip it on the desktop and start the setup.exe manually.

Not licensed version possible.
solution:
ElsaWin Admin start, then top right services - code - enter code query and the final code with the help of the KeyGen.

If this does not help, proceed as follows:

1 reg the reg value (4714AF41-F5B2-11d3-919D-00D0B71030AD) in the delete.

On 64 bit system:

black box in the KeyGen

display problems in ElsaWin with Internet Explorer 9 / 10 .
solution:
ElsaWin run as administrator.

This should not lead to success, proceed as follows: ElsaWin is not compatible with the Internet Explorer 9 / 10 therefore downgrade to Internet Explorer 8

I had problems in getting the maintenance tables to appear in Elsawin. I finally got the maintenance tables (wartung tabell) to appear when I did the following:

-Uninstall Elsawin and run CC Cleaner to delete all temp files and to clean registry before you make new installation
-Install Norwegian together with German and UK English (you dont have to use Norwegian , but when I installed without Norwegian the Maintenance tables did not work)
-Create new user in ElsaAdmin without admin rights
-Set Importer no 150, and handler no 1500 (I think you can use any numbers here as long as it is not "0" and that the importer number is 3 digits and the dealer number is 4 digits) and set up as standard dealer
-Under Tools in ElsaAdmin and Config of info sources set "Yes" for Use of producerpacket in Apos
-Under Tools in ElsaAdmin under Configuration of HST Online set to "Local server only"
