RE: What is HU_NBT2 FSC code
As for the old screen, NBT Evo seems to work with higher voltage, even coded to Apix1. Thus the old screen is not working due to overvoltage.

RE: What is HU_NBT2 FSC code
So, the older NBT units used 8.4V on the power wires for the screen. What voltage are the EVO screens using? Since the EVO has the capability of running the resolutions and APIX1/APIX2, why shouldn't it be able to run both old and new screens? That said, I have not been able yet to make it work with an older screen, but I think some people have. The best I can get is a "No Signal" on the screen or a blank screen that doesn't turn on at all depending on whether it is in APIX1 or APIX2. APIX2 produces the "NO SIGNAL" screen and APIX1 doesn't power the screen on at all. I'm using a F15 10.25" screen.

RE: What is HU_NBT2 FSC code
I have exactly the same.
The problem is the voltage. NBT2 HU supplies always 12-14V, even when it is coded to Apix1. Then due to overvoltage the screen remains blank and an overvoltage fault is stored. If you have coded to Apix2 there is just "no signal" due to no communication between HU and screen. The former NBT1 HU supplies 8,2V stable all the time. I have measured it. So I guess NBT2 only works with newest screen generation capable of higher voltage. |

RE: What is HU_NBT2 FSC code
I wonder if it's possible to put a voltage regulator to reduce the voltage to 8.2-8.4V inline. I might give it a try. I've got a couple EVOs I can try it with. I could also probably try powering the screen with the old NBT and just run the video from the EVO. I'll see what happens and let you know if it works.

RE: What is HU_NBT2 FSC code
I'm thinking a voltage divider circuit might be easier. I'll do some testing later on, unless you find a solution first.

Any luck with the voltage regulator? I'm out of town until the new year, so i haven't had a chance to try.
