Hi all, working on vectra c earlier and could not get ecu to reprogram, i read ecu with car prog after fixing fuses in uec, enterd code on tech 2 to reset everything went fine, went to reprogram new ecu to car all went well, but immobiliser is still on and car wont start.

reprogrammed keys and immobiliser, still nothing read car again with car prog came back with original code.

anybody shed some light on this thanks.

I know it might be a bit late but for future ref

when programming which mode immob programming did you select

it will give you 3 options
cim installed
ecm installed and
cim and ecm installed

when just programming the ecu you need to select just the ecu if you select both it will delet the keys from the car and you will not be able to reprogramme them at all and you will need new keys from vauxhall

so for ecu programming you need to select just ecu/ecm
