Any help would be appriciated
Hi, firstly let me apologise if this is posted in the wrong place or has been posted before:
my wife recently got a lease audi a3 (2015) 1.4 tfsi
it came with the pop up screen and 2 sd card slots
there is no sat nav on the system - I gather I need a sd card with the sat nav map on and an activation code from the dealer (way to expensive for us to buy).
after reading various formus for the last 4/5 days I cant figure out if I can just download a map onto an sd card and then use meds - I have seen various downloads of maps and meds I have also read that it cant be done - and that I can brick the audio/sat nav system - the unit has this software version
mstd-eu-au-p351 (I am not sure how to get the actual unit name/version). so any help determining what system I have and if I can hack it would be great.
sorry if this post makes no sense of I have waffled on a bit but I'm confused.

Hi, thanks - but there is so much conflicting advice - I have seen videos on other forums showing it working - have you tried it?

Hi davemathieson,

audia4 is indeed correct.
New Audi A3 cannot be done and is dealer only.
Nav Prep Pack is about £500, sorry.

Hope this helps confirm it for you.
