I bought qx-4 to do it and heard somewhere you just change some lines in hex to FFFFFFFFFFF is this correct

It is correct (on some way) ..no problem friend, just read dump and post here, doesn't matter is AC present or not, how many valves, etc...we will make off, do not worry.

Still not starting and immobiliser light is still flashing maybe it needs emulator

Not sure how to tell?

When I scanned it with clip it showed as a type 2 and someone said convert to type 1 and will start but it did not make a difference

The easiest way is to see the battery into the key..,if it is bigger batt than you have K line, if you see a smaller one than we talking about CAN.
Your file was a little bit strange...seems no good, I need to see again..
