Hello everyone.
I have been following your instructions for a few years, every year I have updated my navigator without problems.
This year I found the following problems that I would like to present to you.
I start from this situation:
HN+_EU_AU3G_K0942_3
8R0060884ED ECE 6_24_2
I would like to update the map to version 6.27.2 downloaded from Torrent, thanks to your links.
The update installs only the folder Style, while for the folder AUDI_MMI3G_ECE there is a "?
I tried to remove the activator with the appropriate TOOL and try again, without luck.
I decide to reinstall everything with the Emergency update. I run the tool of the first post "Enable Emergency Update (3GP)" without any problems, but in the green menu, under system there is no possibility to run the emergency update.
In the SD card I have some DataPST.db files, but unfortunately I have run it several times and so I have overwritten the original.
Last year I did it, but I was in the version HN+_EU_AU3G_K0767
Any ideas? Thank you.

use user defined update. enable in green menu, then check folder by folder in user defined update of nav software

I presume by adding the file the SD was recognised and the activator did it's job? Did you use the activator contained in the map rar, or the one added a couple of pages back.
i used the activator contained on the map rar, the script.
everything is ok now

This is because the activator kills vdev-logvolmgr and the Unit does not know what files are newer and older for the maps so it shows a "?"
How to fix this ?
Don't activate something like bootloader, it is not good for the units and only for emergency situations.
1. Get your self a script to activate hidden menu or enable it over coding.
2. Restart unit
3. Open Hidden Green Menu with 2 Buttons press
4. go to Menu "SWDL"
5. Mark "User definied mode"
6. Press Return, to go back on main screen of hidden menu
7. Exit the hidden menu with press on NAV Button or other button (DONT RESTART!)
8. Trigger Softwareupdate Menu with NAV Card inserted
9. Now you can choose "Standard" or "User Definied Mode / Benutzerdefiniert" choose second one (User Def. / Benutzerdef)
10. Go into AUDI_MMI3G_ECE ? - go into all listed files like XAC, TER, TER2 and so on. Now you can mark everything inside.
11. After you marked everything, go back to the Main Softwareupdate Listing and when the Button "Start Update" is grey, then go to the Map Styles and mark them also. Now you can press "Start Update" and it is installing the NAV Files
After Install, Unit is restarting, and Map will stay active, because the activator is still there! - only have to clean Fault Code of Missing SVM Documentation with VCDS, ODIS or VCP, but when it stays there is also no problem.

A friend has a weird problem after updating his A6 C6 2011 MMI 3G High.
When zooming out the map "disappears".
Has anyone experienced this before? And how can this be fixed?

Hi Guys,
I finally decided i want to update my a4 b8 with mmi 3G (basic) with the latest firmware + maps availible.
When reading the "update instructions for MMI 3G v1.7.pdf" and this forum i can see i will probably need to do a firmware update before i do the a map update.
I think i need the HNAV 6.27.2 and NOT the HN+ 6.27.2 files.
In the firmware folder i can see different files like HNav_EU_K0022_2_D1.rar. Which one do i need ?
In the maps folder i can see 20 files of 1GB like AUDI_HNav 6.27.2+AKT.part01.rar resulting in 200GB? Do i need all the files ? How do they fit on a SD card ?
A little help in the right direction is appreciated!
