Depending of the câble, not of VCDS.
with clones câbles, no VIN limit

HQ RL CLONE with AES (chinese invention) HW44
AES encryption chip ATAES132A (chip automatic operator code, do not need to send and receive activation code)
Mentioned as useless chinesse invention...
Can you explain what exacly this chip does?
When is it deactivated : jumpers on or off?
Mine is without jumpers.
Should this function be deactivated when :
- program the ftdi chip with MProg
- flash ATMEGA via USBASP programmer
- flash via USB
What about after?

You have internet connection up ?
this error is dependance from the APIs..
try online and offline and report

Mine is the same as the PCB from post 52 with AES but i already have the jumpers on the PCB and i have flashed my cable with jumpers on the PCB and worked fine, now i'm using 18.2 VCDS with VCDLoader v6 by kolimer and everything is working perfect under win 7 starter x32 bit.
You can use HDD jumpers(old jumpers from PC Harddisks).

I have also flashed mine by USB and programmed by USBASP without J1 and J5 and worked fine. So it seems it works both ways.
@DTech Please explain more about AES invention and why should this be deactivated.
Also please mention when is deactivated (jumpers on or off). Thanks

AES is usefull for chinese soft.
IF their loader ask a code, aes offer this code. If use another eeprom/soft not usefull. I extract both jumpers. Not use chinese soft.

Thank you @alibabavl64 for this info.
I use Kolimer's loader and eeprom + firmware so that means I don't need AES.
I will not add jumpers to J1 and J5 on the PCB.
