Thanks for the above-mentioned attempts at paid help. I could’ve coded it online myself, but the MAN grp was temporarily unavailable for my country – some maintenance or something like that. I was in a hurry, but with no other option, the car just had to wait. Already sorted now.

Not quite sure if I understand right: you had the possibility to solve yourself right away but your source didn't work at that point. So you asked here and got options and offers from users to solve right away and rejected and then waited to use your primary source you wanted to go for anyways?
I hope my understanding is not correct.

I only got replies – basically just offers of paid services – a day later. By then I had already solved the issue myself. What part isn’t clear?

None. Understood. I was just wondering. Wondering because your "could have coded it online myself" source seems to be a free-of-charge source?! Which I doubt, because online account always has root-costs towards the manufacturer. Maybe you might not pay for it yourself, but somebody does. It is just unfair to blame others trying to help you with a s3rvice they have to pay themselves for, whilst your (directly or indirectly) paid s3rvice is offline for a few hours.
But it is clear to me now. You expected someone to help you for free whilst your own paid (directly or indirectly) s3rvice was offline. Clear to me, yes. No further questions.
