4G1035053E radio unit Audi a6 c7 2012 component protection - kobi2311 - 30-09-2025
Hi
I have Audi A6 C7 2012 year. Ori radio unit 4G1 035 053 E is damaged (no comunication with radio module with Vcds). I have second used unit with same numbers. I copied 24c64 eeprom from ori unit to second used unit but component protection is still active. Should I copy somethink more than only eeprom? I copied this eeprom (foto from board in attached). It is Q3 AT64A eeprom (24c64).
I swaped eeprom (no copy) from ori unit to used unit and it does not work too. In attached read dumps from ori unit and from second used unit (read as 24c64).
Last time in unit number 4G0 035 056 I just did copy/write eeprom dump from ori unit to second used unit and it worked. Here it does not work?
MaybyCP in processor too?

Problem solved. On second side of the board I found Atmel 24c256 eeprom. I copied it from ori unit to second used unit and all works good now (no CP).
Eeprom Q3 AT64A I did not copy. Only 24c256 need to copy. In attached photo from board with 24c256 eeprom. Regards
