Ista-p castor fault f serie - Fx82 - 08-11-2015
Hi
I can't code any f serie with ista-p 3.57.
The vin is displayed and after that is gives the error codes 94201, 63014, 63014.
I've added the image. (borrowed from another thread)
E series works perfectly. I'm using a icom a2 clone with the latest firmware.
Wifi of the laptop is disabled, no firewall and anti-virus software is used.
I also did this (from user abuqutaita) but no luck.
1. connect to power supply
2. turn on ignition
3. connect cable
4. connect via ISTA/P

Hi where did you you buy your Icom A2 with latest firmware? Can it synchronize used dme or cas if replaced on E series and how much you paid for it ?

I similar problem occurred earlier times.
1. check Ethernet connection this car. (ista d... connection manager show connection bus type.. must be show ETH)
2. If have Ethernet connection.. battery negative cable disconnect 20min..
after... test again.. run ista p...
my same problem earlier times... problem cause= car obd connector contact failure... not have Ethernet connection... just dcan.... ista p show same fault..

I have exactly the same issue for F10.
No idea what is wrong with it.
ICOM A2 is updated with the firmware from 3.57.

Please don't hijack this thread.
Yes clone Icom can synchronize but first you'll have to fix the dme.

If you correctly read your post you had the same problem and fixed with disconnecting the negative cable for 20 min?

Yes same problem... my problem first cause.. not have ethernet.. only dcan..

Try to disable firewall on your PC.
I used to have same error. After disable firewall, I can use e-net cable with istap loader to connect without any issue.
Ista-p castor fault f serie - ntuner - 09-11-2015
This is caused by Windows firewall. There are specific ports that Castor is using on F series and generally are opened during ista p install. Can't remember the specific ports but if you compare with a working laptop you can see the ports opened

I've disabled the firewall by default. The laptop isn't used for the internet.

I got the same problem, ERROR 94201 when connecting. Any ideas how to solve it?
