Polo 6R PQ25 cluster swap - Mex165 - 17-03-2026

Having some trouble with the new cluster 6R0920870E SW0709, might be a bad read?

Can someone please make the new cluster file with the old original clusters IMMO?
Is this a plug and play solution or do I also need the PIN codes from both?

Does anyone have a SW0709 EEPROM file to share?

When I try flashing EEPROM with a file (IMMO imported with VDOeditor or VAG Dash editor), I get ERROR instead of km and no start... sad

You have to transfer the immodata from the original to the donor via OBD using a suitable tool.

That´s the way.

Eeprom is crypted with nec flash. Easiest way is doing this OBD, like jokir wrote.

Ok, will use the fvdi abrites 2014..
Is it going to solve the problem?
Haven't used it for years, so I might need some guidance..

Do I have to make new "keys" (dealer key)?
Can I program a new immo chip and "reuse" the original chips in the keys?
After entering 5ёяvїcё mode in "CAN Instrument", there is nothing else to do after changing everything in immo...
Make key doesn't put it in 5ёяvїcё mode, either standard or wizard..

So... I made a new key after erasing all old keys and changing everything on the new cluster from the old..
Now I just have to put cluster back in the car and add the old keys, I guess?
