Firstly if somebody tried to help You then its cost nothing to push the thanks button at least.
Secondly You could be more specific... the "but did not work" expression could mean many things. (I assuming the MIL is still on and You can read same DTC) In this case the DTC off seems to be ok to me (didn't see more position in a BDM read nor), so if I would be You then I would check the writing first (with a re-read).
