First and most important of all is to change 74HC125D to 74HCT125M on your carparog, i have good clone (good pcb) but still did not read some I2C,95 ,MCU. I bought 74HCT125M at farnell change all 4 of them and it is ok now. reading without problems.

When i change to the other chips its just a quick simple swap out correct
and my next question what exactly does swapping out them chips do

Don"t get on thing like this, it is usually just swaping 74HC125D to 74HCT125M and child can do....if you cant do it yourself you probably dont need carprog anyway.

Ya i can swap chips but now it wont read simple 912 processor so i think im just giving up on clone and going upa or something else

Why change the chips.
I just put away crash date of purchase of the new SRS - block. The rest I not interested. Is more interesting device programmers. Do not waste time.

I have 4.74 on 3 units working fine , no issues 912 is good , remember apply 12v+ to power port when reading mcu
have never had issue reading any mcu , contact seller for manuals, or read datasheet of target it will say programming pins
