SWAP 1.6 TDI PCR 2.1 TO 1.9 TDI EDC16U1 - style78 - 24-08-2026
I have a workshop that has swapped the engine of a VW Golf. Originally a 1.6 TDI with a Simos PCR 2.1 ECU, they installed a 1.9 TDI engine with an EDC16U1 ECU.
With the Simos ECU, the car starts and then stalls.
With the EDC16U1, it does nothing.
Is there any way to pair the ECUs?

including fuse box engine
and interior wiring
