When I run card explorer I have a message:
"Failed to auto-identify the Card type."
(Tech2 connected n' powered)
anyone can help?

Why nobody tell me that i need phisical PCMCIA card writer to use MCE ?!?!
Now I've downloaded :"Card_writer"
for example from here:
http://alexre.ru/galery/upload/%D0%A4%D0%B0%D0%B9%D0%BB%D1%8B/Tech2/cardwriter.zip
It's need only TECH2 connected to power and to PC.
It can only write cards sadly not to read
Downloading bin files by this software takes quite a lot of time....
Now for the end:
- installed v175
- I've checked Tech on old Corsa (seem to work fine)
- New position in cars list... Insignia

Insignia is not covered by Tech2 or Tech2Win sir
So don't be such a happy
For Insignia, AstraJ you need GM MDI and GDS2

So which latest version of bin is useful to the Tech2
I had a hope that I don't must buy a mdi sadly i was wrong
(by the way, does Tech2 can connect with cars before 97 ?!?!)

The last I'm useing is v176.000
But as I said the Insigbia, Astra J, Mokja etc, cars models after 2009 are or will be cover by Tech2 hand held anymore.
This cars are covered by the GDS2 and you will need GM MDI or GM Mangoose PRO2 or any other passthrue tool that can be use with GDS2 ( as AVDI )
