How to unlock DVD speedlock(G11/G12) - supeace - 28-03-2016
I follow F series to unlock DVD speed lock as following setting but fail,
HU_NBT 3000 SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MIN value = FF
HU_NBT 3000 SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MAX value = FF
HU_NBT 3000 VIDEO_HANDBRAKE nicht_aktiv
HU_NBT 3001 VIDEO_FRONT_LOCKED nitch_aktiv
HU_NBT 3000 VIDEO_SPEEDLOCK_CONDITION none
G series DVD speed lock still work,
how to disable?

G series bitmask is not the same as in F series, so you can not unlock with FF. The best thing you can get, is up to 3F (63km/h) .
Till now i don t found a solution to unlock up to FF.
Depending on your bitmask i copied this from another forum with the max. settings depending on the bitmask (thanks to dmnc02)
SPEEDLOCK_SPEEDVALUE_MIN: Werte = 1F (11111b)
UNBELEGT (below the above): Werte = 07 (111b)
SPEEDLOCK_SPEEDVALUE_MAX: Werte = 3F (111111b)
UNBELEGT (below the above): Werte = 03 (11b)
To see your bitmask entrys in Esys
Select the checkbox for storage Info in fdl editor

Thanks always goes to someone who did not bring up the original idea.
Speedlock can be removed if your local coder really knows what he/she is doing.

Is G series not using SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MIN/SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MAX anymore? I saw the 2 SPEEDLOCK_SPEEDVALUE_xxx parameters too in a new F83(non-US) but only set SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MIN and SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MAX as usual and it worked.
There are a lot other parameters with speedlock meanings. Can you upload the.ncd file for the G series car?

You can generate Ncd's using "Coding-Verification" section under "Expert Mode" in E-sys.
