You do not configure for ISTA-D. You only do if I using ENET with ISTA-P. It is your TCP/IPV4 Properties of Ethernet/LAN not wifi.

Assuming you still have prerequisite software installed, then yes. For this standalone version, I placed 5 SQLiteDB's in Rheingold\SQLiteDBs folder, ran Reg Fix, and it works with my ENET by running ISTAGUI.exe.

You did not understand. I have new laptop (not installed any versions of rheingold) and I have ent cable. I downloaded 3.55 version and it starts without errors. Then I have to configure my enet cable or not?

Sorry, let me make it clear: You do not configure ENET.

If 3.55 starts without errors and you can scroll documents, then you should have all the prerequisite software installed that you need. 3.56.14 and 3.56.21 will work too, just with different Reg Fixes. You do not need to configure ENET. VCI config will be already set to Dealer organization ICOM / ENET. When you read vehicle, you will get a connection window showing ENET with IP without having to configure.

3.56 has the advantage of OBD scan tool:

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the function of this "OBD scan tool" feature added in 3.56.xx? Thanks.

I just tested and you can use ISTA-P TCP/IPV4 settings and ISTA-D will still be able to connect. This is nice so you do not have to switch protocols when launching either program.
However, you may choose not to configure as well, for instance, if you are just using ISTA-D on a personal computer that you do not wish to cause conflict when also plugging into home or office LAN.

Good morning guys,

I am continually receiving the DSS #00046632EN error despite having the DB's added to the SQLiteDB's folder. Please see screenshot.

What am I missing?

Using Win8 64bit, I have 83Gb available after this install. Could that be the cause of this error?

Free hard drive space is not the issue. Which files do you have in SQLiteDB folder and which language do you have selected in Client Settings? You will get that error if you selected American English (en-US) and have 5 files (including 2 _ENGB) in folder.
