We can still use ISTA/p for F series to program right or is ISTA/d going to be the new solution? RE: How to program with ISTA-D 4.01.21 - Bimmer540 - 08-09-2016 ISTA/P will still flash F, G and I series vehicles until 07/2017 according to BMW. But eventually ISTA/P for F, G, and I series will be phased out and only be around to support legacy E-series flashing. Ok cool thanks so then it will be all in one with ista/d Im assuming esys flashing will stay the same? RE: How to program with ISTA-D 4.01.21 - PhilipM - 09-09-2016 Has anyone managed to get ISTA/D to program or code? I tried with /D 3.55, Measures plan was made, but it asked to connect power supply. ICOM was used, KL15/30 both detected and showing at 14v, but it would refuse to go any further. Would it be laptop power supply? Yes, no programming without power supply on the car (14v) and on the laptop too. You do not want to risk corrupting vehicle by loosing power on notebook or car. You must have PSU for vehicle and power adapter for computer.
