04 545i SMG not going into gears - dazuc - 16-11-2016 Hi, A buddy of mine is having a problem with his 04 545i SMG. When you try to shift the car into Reverse or to 1st gear, the car chirps in the direction of the gear selected. While attempting to relearn the transmission with ISTA/D and DIS it fails. I tried to relearn the transmission with INPA and it failed at clutch slipping point detection. Here is the final results (error page)
