Hello. I bought a VAS5054A Clone. I hope it is no crap. >>>THIS ONE <<<

My problem is. I get no ignition in ODIS 2.2.4 and 3.0.3.

Which Windows and Odis are you using?

Windows 7 64-bit. Used with ODIS-S 2.2.7, 3.0.3, over Bluetooth and USB. ODIS-E 5.0.14 and ODIS-E 6.7.5 over USB just fine.

Post some real pictures of your vas with interior also (between boards) and then will tell you what u got . Chinese vas is a big and i mean BIG lottery.
90% of cases it is not what was pictured.

Since you did not unsolder the bt pcb board to make pictures of interior boards (witch are very important), on a first look i can tell you this:
1. Memory : even if industrial model and speed ok 10ns are crap because are not 5V model and in fact are 3V model and wrong ones.
2. Forget the OKi chip, can even unsolder because it is fake
3. I suspect also that the chip near oki is also a chinese fake(picture not so clear)
4. Some wrong parts there, but that is not end of world.

If you put interior ones then i can tell you what else is there fc..ed.

Ok. OKI Chip is for Ford Modells? Right?

Now i have modified the pdu api and the bas5054a is working like a charm!

Test it with odis 3.0.3 and api vers. 1.20.037.

I'm looking to buy a 5054a, it's a mine field......could anyone recommend which to buy and where from?
