What is wrong: Peugeot expert 2009 - strikeforce - 06-04-2017
Car is all keys lost. I initially tried reading bsi but no luck. I had to buy pincode from Peugeot assembly plant in my country and key is programmed successfully, but car is still not starting. Scanned the car and got the following

front/rear courtesy light lighting control fault Short circuit to positive. Local

Is the communication with ecu dependant on bsi?

Car battery has been removed several times and I think the bsi get corrupted in the process. What I don't know is if that will cause no communication with the ecu.

yes the commenecation with ecu need the bsi
can you pls post your fill from bsi or your bsi information and ecu
1/ check your fuse
2/ your can line from bsi to ecu
i think if your file of bsi is corrapt it will not aksept the pin and the new keys

I lost the bsi label but I have the same bsi from a Peugeot 407 I worked on sometimes back. See attachment
Pic no. 1 is original bsi for the car and the rest is from 407 with similar bsi

Bsi JC is in economy mode probably, try to wake up it.

reprograme the keys and telecode the car
