Injector programming - delta9 - 19-04-2017

Hi
Looking for some help from the experts please

Alfa romeo 147 1.9 JTDM 2006

ECU: Bosch EDC16 CF3 or Bosch EDC16C39 CF4
Body Computer: Magneti Marelli 937

Do injectors need programming if replacement ECU/BC replaced? (with matching numbers/replacement).

Thanks

Yes, but it will start and work even if you do not program new injector codes

Thanks for the post

I am unable to start it after replacing ECU/BC/Keyset... Although it did not start before changing these parts! No fuel to injectors/rail.

Some posts on the internet are saying Multijets need programming.

I will try programming if not then must be mechanical problem.
Thanks

As donesko wrote that's can't be the reason of "no start state". If CR pressure is zero, or almost zero then probably high pressure pump problem. If it goes up a little by cranking then should check some parts of fuel system.

Hi thanks for helping

Had a quick fiddle with the multiecuscan program, after about 10 cranks I am only getting a maximum 4 bar of pressure in the fuel system.

Cheers

Hi
You were right on the injectors - they dont need programming. Though if you want to program them only the blue KKL cable works for programming (on this 147 anyways)

Car is now fine btw, non start due to bad battery not giving enough amps fail
