You need to disconnect seat occupation mat, and then code acsm to disable SBE1_1 - SEAT OCCUPANCY DETECTION (SBE1) 1

The box does not have anything to do with the broken seat mat, the E90 does not even has one in sight. You can code it out with NCS Expert (SBE1_1 and SBE1_STATUS_VERZ nicht_aktiv, or OC3 if it is a US spec car), just pull off the plug coming from the occupancy sensor (it has 3 cables, brown-red-white IIRC). That's it.

This alone wont work...
Look inside JBBF and for a parameter called "drucksensor".
Set it to nicht_aktiv
Problem solved
