The 770 version is for A6, A7 and A8 cars and 767 for other cars. Since this two new firmwares the version works for both.
To use SIM and phone at the same time you must work in the green menu as this link thread 26 !

im curious, becouse i do not have sim card slot in my 3gp unit (8R1 906 670 A), is it possible to make by ie. rSAP to force unit go online, i mean turn on google maps, online info etc. ??
My android phone is SIM Access Profile compatiblile.
I got SW 0612 and currently (exactly right now
) im updating to 0767. All i got at 0612 software was that it was possible to turn wifi streaming on, but internet radios (these from audi connect app didn't work, becouse when phone connects to wifi [wich did not have ane internet connection] was unable to recieve internet connection and radios).

I have a 2010 A4 with the 3G HDD nav MMI setup.
I want to install the 2014 maps but am aware that I need to update the firmware, the current details of the car is as below:
Software version:
HNav_EU_p0022_D1
Nav database version:
8R0060884J ECE 5.10.5
I have read through most the posts on here and there seem to be a few saying that this particular MMI cannot be updated straight from the old 2010 firmware to the new 2014.
I am pretty 'savvy' at things like this but I have to admit I am slightly confused as to what exactly I must do in order to update my system correctly as I don't want to 'brick' my MMI.
Any help with what I need to do, what updates and in what order would be massively appreciated.
Appreciate its a bit of a pain writing it all out, but I cannot find anything specific for my version to the new 2014 version.

Read post 347 thats the right order from your version, you need all the updates. Use maps from post 1 and activator from post 3

I've tried to do activate as said on page 4. Key was installed but still pops up info about not activated map. Didn't do first thing(this about metafiles2) because when I put it on sd card and try to update by engineering mode once more map with new file it stops with error and do not install anything.

I have a A6 4G/C7 12.2011.
I have updated all the packages and are now in EU_AU_K0770. I have some issues there.
Firstly, the car are italian and have no swedish language. How can i activate ? I found out from the update process that a lot of swedish files are loaded into the system so i am sure that swedish are in the car, but not choosable?! Can i activate in hidden menu, or with VCDS?
Secondly, i didnt update the maps yet, only the 518 618 770 discs. But what i can read from other users they get Audi Connect automatically when do this. I didnt.
And about Audi Connect, can i use the Audi Connect with bluetooth connection with iPhone 5, or do i need to have a MMI 3GP with SIM-tray and put a SIM there to let it work? I dont have the SIM-tray between the SD 1/2, but i have a docking station for iPhone 5 between the seats...
Any help will be appriciated.

Hi Simon
Swedish language is for speech system, not display language. You can't set this in hidden menu. When you don't have a sim tray like me, you can't get audi connect.
