Mazda ids help please - diag06 - 18-06-2017
Hi,
I have VCM II clone, it work with Ford (v86)but impossible to work with Mazda (different versions installed but impossible to detect vcm and car of course )
I try even to installed only Mazda ids in a fresh Windows 7 version, .always failed detection.
Could anyone help me to fix this problem please ?
Maybe need to change firmware, .... Or flashing something...

If you are using Ford VCM II with Ford IDS v86 then in other compuuter ( not in the same one ) yo have to install Mazda Ids v86 or v87, or v88 or v89
All this has the same firmware no need to flash always the firmware when yo choose between the Ford and Mazda IDS softwares
But in Mazda IDS computer yo have to install the Ford VCM II Manager
Otherwise the Mazda IDS software will not reconize your tool
The Ford Manager version its 2.1.1.5 used in thise IDS versions if I remember well

I installed another fresh Windows7 32X, then ids Mazda V88, Ford Manager version its 2.1.1.5 was automatically installed, but sadly always same problem.
I can't detect device with Mazda ids software, on the other laptop Ford ids software work perfectly.
Please if you have any solution, let me know.

As I told you. Install Ford VCM II Manager version 2.1.1.5 too near the Mazda VCM II Manager 2.1.1.5
Then copy all the files and folders from Ford Manger over the Mazda VCM Manager files and folders. Copy over but do not erase that Mazda files
