Hello,
I have a jungheinrich eks 314 ac orderpicker. On initial start up self check the steering contact does not pull in and gives a code 228. Lift has no functions, drive or hydraulics. Any help with definition of this code please.

Hi i work on wagner vna trucks in the UK. You will need to clear the error in steering first, unfortunately atm i dont know what code 228 refers to. however this could could be due to the emergency start up chain not complete or an error in steering, ie main module not getting steering OK signal.

Yes checked all possibilities without knowing the code. Steer angle sensor on steer motor changes the direction on dash display when turned manually. Checked ohms on harness wires from operator panel to junction box on rear panel, all wires good. Think problem is in steer wheel sensor but not positive, do not like to just change parts.
