EXPERT TUNERS , IM LOOKING FOR HELP - chalhoub.mb - 27-06-2017
Im looking for the best and reasnobale tool for tuning / deleting dtcs such as o2 sensor and cat , im focusing on american vehicles at most , GM ,cadillac, ford, Chrysler dodge and holden .
I have done my research well , found out a couple of tools that can do the job , but each has a different disadvantage , i have been looking for some help and guide to choose and purchase the accurate and best tool for the job .
i know that engine control module mostly can be best to read and write on bench , but i have been searching for a tool that can read and write by obd2 , i have seen CAT tuner , but it has a big disadvantage because it does not cover all the models and year models , i have seen efi and hp tuns , both perfect but hp tuns seems to cover most of what is needed for the job with perfect results , the only thing about hp tuns that it dosnt bring up a profit since i work in a shop and im not tuning a specific vin or personal vehicle , hp tuns and efi are based on credits that we purchase depending on amount of vehicles and vins .If i will pay 100 dollars per vehicle for the customer , for deleting or bypassing o2 sensors that would leave me with out any profit . Im looking for a tool that can read the engine control module bin file or the file on that ecu , and edit it with a specific software for example like that russian software : ESS , ecu soft service , wich can edit the file remove whatever dtcs you wish to remove and save the file .
im focusing on american made automobiles like i said before , from year model 2004 till current 2017 .
I have seen KESS v2 and ktag with obd2 adapters , but im not sure those tools can do the job , im looking for a tool that can read write ecm files by obd2 , some thing pretty much similar to hp tuns , if there is some tool out there that can do what im looking for ,basically what i need most is deleting dtc and disabling dtc from engine control modules .
What is the best tool that can do that , i ask professionals and well experienced tuners and ecu tools specialists , if any one can help please do ?

am not sure about where you are but i highly rate kess v2 and ktag..but where ever you are theres no perfect tool they all have pros and cons buddy
ess am told is good but 10k? swiftech is also good but 4 odd k....theres many helpful guys and software's on here to help you along so am sure some one else will chip in across the pond
