Hello, thank you but I just tried it and it doesn't launch, once I run ISTAGUI.exe the window doesn't show up.
ISTAGUI.exe and IstaServicesHost.exe keep running in the TaskManager at 44.000K but that's all.
the previous version works so I assume this standalone is not ok.

It's Your system not OK. I launch it on 2 systems Win10 x64 build 1607 & 1703.
Check Your netframework 4.6.2, 4.7.
Standalone is working:

Works for me, but I removed all settings from reg file provided. One of them was called StealthMode and was set to true. Maybe that is the reason?

All in the reg file after the line "BMW.Rheingold.Programming.PsdzDataPath"="..\\..\\..\\PSdZ\\data_swi" for updating the firmware of ICOM and ICOM NEXT via ISTA-D. Those lines created by msi installers with native installation.
Use them or not it's Your choice.
For me all work fine.

I don't have car for experiments. All cars or just diagnostic or maintenance. No serious problems.
