Mr samic i ordered today a vvdi prog and it
Is 4.4.6
If i want to update it when i receive it
Can update it directly the 4.5.1
Or i need to update the version before ?

You can use 4.5.1 without any problems, there not need update firmware yet...

how did you do it?
im trying to erase it right now,
it reads fine,
when erasing inc, at the end of "trying 99%" it says unable to modify chip
I have ST - D80 selected
looks like it doesnot work with soic clip

if your firmware 1.0.0 you have to update it to 2.0.0
its easy from upgrade button

I have tried to read Porsche BCM with 9S12 5M48H dated 2013 MCU but could not do it because VVDI Prog did not detected chip ID. Always get ID: FFFF
While Porsche BCM with MCU 9S12 2M25J dated 2014 have readed without problems
tried versions 4.52 4.51 and 4.4.9 all was doing same ID: FFFF
Used connection from connection diagram.
