Hi @ all,
first post - first problem:
So I got a 2004 BMW E46 320D with a (probably) broken ecu. It still works sometimes but very annoying. So I bought a donor (used-same model) ecu.
Can I only "transfer" the dump from the old ecu to the new one and thats it?
Or can I virgin the ecu?
Where is the needed information stored? in flash or eeprom?
Hope you can help me somehow

If the ecu same hw , just move on original dumps to new ecu

It will but do a cas dde alignment after transfer and all ok
