FVDI : Questions about PSA BSI - Macman07 - 01-10-2017

Hi everyone,
I asked the question on several threads of the forum that talk about fvdi, but nobody knows, or at least anybody answers...
I would like to know exactly how to recognize the BSI PSA with which the use of Fvdi is risky. there is the johnson control. But they talk about JC and JC crypto. I also ear about valeo and valeo uds?
So can someone give me his technique to recognize a bsi valeo of a JC and especially to recognize a JC of a jc crypto?
Does the 2 have problems with fvdi, or only the crypto?
Thank you in advance guys!

First of all there is no such thing as "FVDI users", most people who have fvdi have also other tools for some jobs and fvdi is marginal tool that no one relies fully on.
I see you trying to get answer for every model "work or not" for PSA so you can be sure you can do that car and i think that is wrong way to go and you need more experience. FVDI can help you in lot of jobs and i think it is good value but you cant really your bussines on it.

No one goes "blindly" as you say, probably most people use some other tool when they need pin reading from JC bsi units like smok or avdi...or someone like my self who dont have either of it removes BSI and reads eprom manualy and use some of many softwares to get pin code....

In my experince fvdi is good on valeo CAN bsi, it can read psa EDC15 epprom good and find PIN (if there is) , SID803A also as well, for others do manually or buy better and more expensive tool
