Hello,
I want to add a key to Ford cougar but I don't know which ic to read,please help. car is 98 ford cougar with EEC-V ecu.

You tried any OBD tool on this one? I see there is cougar in sbb menu

I don't think there is immo off for this one.
I tried with SBB and it failed.

Cougar is the same as Fiesta, 4C transponder. You should be able to make it with sbb or T300 via obd.

Tried with SBB and it shows that it has succeeded but car not start! is there a way to add straight to ecu? am frustrated with this car

if it reports success but don't add key you probably have bad traponder or wrong transponder type
