Audi a4 2011 KEY - crackos20 - 22-12-2017
Only the battery has changed and the key no longer works, does anyone know why and how can it be encoded?

Hello sounds like out of sync try putting key in ignition turn 1 click then press unlock on keyfob and see if it responds if not try 2 clicks on ignition.
Maybe it will work maybe it won't be sure to let me know

1) What was the reason to change the battery....? if the remote was not working than was the old battery been checked to see if was low on voltage before replacing new one........?
It could be the battery was fine but, the remote fob it self was faulty......
2)Double check again to see if the battery was not fitted wrong way around and 100% was the right battery......

New battery should be also coded in gateway.
