BMW Apps in 2011 CIC + Combox? - Kamcio - 23-12-2017
Hi, I want to use BMW apps on my 2011 E93, I patched CIC and updated FSC's (with APPS FSC), coded CIC and Combox with new FA (6NR), but my apps doesn't work. Apps are present in menu, but shows to connect phone, when I do it nothing changes. Can someone help me with activating apps? Is it possibile to activate internet and weather too?

Well, there is your problem. You need NBT in order to have BMW Apps with Android support. CIC only supports iPhone.

Ohhhh, but now I installed BMW Connected on iPhone 5, and CIC always shows "connect your phone VIA USB", when I connect nothing changes

Did you check if you have latest version of combox and media ?
Bmw Apps is compatible with (Spotify,Deezer,Napster...)
to get internet and bmw live working you need to code your combox with Vin who has this fonctionality then you update service

So to use apps what do I have to do? Just Play Spotify or how to run it? Can you help me with that online android internet activating? Any working Vin?

Check your comboxa if it is already in latest version (C05) then look for working VIN make ssd file with the vin and just code your combox or you can do it with tool32

I upated all car software to E89X-16-11-500, it is the latest. Do I just have to code MEDIA vin? Can be from NBT.?
