Diagbox VCI / XS Evolution interface Full Chip Mod - ALC1 - 10-01-2018

Hi,

I thought my VCI was full chip, but it doesn't talk to my C1, although it does talk to a friends 407, when i looked i think it's missing 10k resistor so i replaced it, but it still doesn't talk.

Do I need to replace anything else? I am not an electrical engineer, but i can just about solder.

10k resistor soldered on:

The other sides of the boards:

Thanks

BTW on a C1 you have to manually enter the VIN as it's Toyota based so doesn't have the VIN in the BSI or any ECU. I have tested with the diagbox cable / software and all works.

Oh that's interesting, thanks, but I still tried manually putting in the VIN and no luck.
