Hi Folks,

I know it is an old thread, but do you guys know if 20-30A PSU is enough for programming i3 or something more powerful is required?

20A is definitely too low. 30A maybe for very empty (optional equipment wise) cars. Also depends what it does if current demand rises above it's limit. If shuts down fully - do not use.

lock all door latches hood and trunk while there openred once start stop button light goes out and all other interior lights then disconect hv disconnect , the connect charger ( battery maintainer ) in rear area once all programm done let car sleep 45 min the reconnect hv then clear faults this is proper way unless i worded a little wrong hope this helps all ( and ant i 3 or battery only cars must still have hv taken down to avoid damage to ( EME )

No need to disconnect HV, just plug 12V charger. When programming start, HV system will shutdown anyway

Thanks, How long approx it takes to update i3? I'll be using latest ISTA + Enet

depend on vehicle order, mine take 45minutes, but NBT have nevest firmwre already.

Cheers, did you use ENET for it? So many horror stories and warnings not to use it for programming.

not, for programming i use icom via router, enet only for esys coding and upgrading, but this was proper istaD session
