Bmw e46 ms42 boot wont read - Nemanja - 19-01-2018
Hi
I need boot pin location on this ms42 ecu , I have for ms43 picture with boot pin location but its not same
Here a pictures if someone can mark pin o picture

Boot pin ==>pin 24 FlashEPROM 29F400 or pin 104 SAK-C167CR MCU

First time booting this ecu so I cant get this ecu to boot mode
Tell me if I do something wrong here instruction what I use for 512kb read http://www.autonumen.com/blog/2015/11/20/galletto-1260-ecu-flasher-readwrite-bmw-ms43ms42/
What I did :
Connected all pins on ecu like on instruction
I connected pin 7 and 26 on ecu ( power pins) then I connected on black socket + of galleto 1260 , then connect all them to 12v + battery
Gnd pin 4 connected on ecu like on picture , I connected boot pin with gnd wire and on boot pin 104 , than connect all them to black socket minus ( - ) of galleto 1260 and on battery minus
K line pin 32 connected on ecu like on picture , and on white socket K on galleto 1260
When I power this I have power on galleto light go on , after 6 sec I remove boot wire from pin like in instruction try to.connect and I got error ecu not in boot mode
I use JM garage flasher like in instruction
I do somethings wrong?

Information:
I just use a spring pin (POGO pin) on the boot pin.. no need to solder.
