Need help for Tech2 using GDS MDI - valifilioreanu - 08-02-2018

Hello,
I have searched all threads without success, or maybe I am blind crying
Can anybody please have the willing to help me install Tech2 on win7 without VMware?
I have installed GDS and works fine but only for 2009+ years.
The interface that I have is a GDS MDI and I intend to use it for older model also if possible.
Thanks in advance

Here you have Tech2win
https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=24171&highlight=Tech2win
You need bin files too
For Opel/Vauxhall you get it from here

Good luck

If use GDS2 software it works great.
As for Tech2win software, myself did not manage to install it yet.
GDS soft is for 2009+ cars, not working for older models.

Hi, does anybody have a tutorial for installing Tech2win?
I have a .bin file, what is supposed to do with it?
I am stuck in with this software

RE: Need help for Tech2 using GDS MDI - Clusters - 25-02-2018

Place .bin file in C:\Program Files\General Motors\Tech2Win.

In the configurator, create a new configuration and name it what you want.

default -> copy to -> (chosen name)

Under Path point to the .bin file (C:\Program Files\General Motors\Tech2Win\xxxxxxxx.bin)

When you install Tech2win, do not modify the destination, it must be C:\Program Files\General Motors\Tech2Win

This is how I installed Tech2win with NAO....

Download Tech2Win v2.302 from this link, compatible with XP Pro SP3: http://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=7028&highlight=tech2win

Do not modify the destination location on install!

Run the patcher from this link:
http://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=24482&highlight=tech2win

Download and extract NAO V33.004 EN.bin file and place in C:\Program Files\General Motors\Tech2Win.

In the configurator, create a new configuration and name it what you want.

default -> copy to -> (chosen name)

Under Path point to the NAO file (C:\Program Files\General Motors\Tech2Win\NAO V33.004 EN.bin)

Select your language.

Setup the display.

Save the configuration and close the configurator.

Restart Tech2Win and select your new configuration
