Toyota rush fault code P1601 - mehmet becker - 09-02-2018
Hi
i was wondering i have a toyota rush 2005 with c transponder
recently i did a job chip crashed or somthing but car did not want to start
i removed the immo key free box and read the dump
wrote a new key in it to he file and put it back in the car
nou ignition switch unlocks all lights on dash come on and gooff excaped for check engine immlight also tuns off witch i think it is ok so i try to start it crancks but no start
so i scanned the car and got code P1601 witch has somthing to do with immo mis match or somthing sorry cant remeber exact
read somwhere i need to resyncethe immo and the ecm by shorthing pin 4 and 13 on the obd port and leave it for 31 min
did that but code is stil there and car no start condition
so my question has anyone had this problem and how can it be resolved

it maybe key itself
you might need to make 2 keys/ 1 master key/1 slave key as some toyota need 2 keys to start car
you first need to make master then program slave key
tpx1 make universal key
im adding zip file which might help you understand car system better

this is the originel key dump from immo bilizer first i tried rewritting the old transponder light went off and ignition unlock but no start and ten tried en new transponder the immo light goes of when i insert the key ignition unlocks all lights come on so i asume the immo works would the ignition not stay locked if it wasent working ?

Hey guys
wel guys
tried the file today
and it worked like a charm
check engine is off car start right up so everything fine
also i did try somthing els er found a file on another forum where the verginized it by clearing all the numbers to zero leaving to numbers at the buttom
that file alsoso worked iwill add this file for others to use if it could work for them
