Hello friends!
Today I want to share a really great cluster tool for e6X/e7X/e8X/e9X! I think it should save money and time for some people who want to code oiltemperature, for example.

For which models is this program and what exactly is it?
Older Bmw such as E46 etc?
Vllt a few examples of what you can do with it?
Will other languages be supported in the future?

Which models support the Oil gauge?

It seems only specified above.

Afaik, all petrol engines support it. Some diesels not.

Oh okay. Anyone got right values for 330d models oil gauge?

worst case scenario you can use Dr. Gini to read the actual oil temp of the engine and from there you can play with the values of the cluster to match the actual figures.

( my thought only wink )

That's known settings for such gauges. You can enter temp range which you need, 70-95-120-145-170 degrees for example. And then you need to calculate step points and it's simple because temp curve is linear, so points curve should be linear too. On the screenshot above you can see maximum steps is 1777 points. So you just need to divide that maximum value by 4 (because there are 4 ranges between 5 points) and fill step points from 0 to maximum. 1777/4 = 444.25 points. So the right values (integer) are 0, 444, 888, 1333, 1777 and as you can see they are already coded, because consumption gauge has the same linear curve.

But if your prefer the values which aren't linear (70-90-120-150-170), you need to calculate temp to points respectively. In my example you have to tune a little second and fourth.

Well, nothing new in that program. I've changed my consumption gauge to oil temp on my 530i a year ago or so, but I did this using NCS and Tool32. Anyway, that program looks convenient for such purpose...

I would like to change the scale of my speedometer on my 535d e60 which is 260km / h to 330 km / h as the M5 is possible with this tool?
