Plenty of info on here
tolls and software depend on budget and if u want to learn
do u want to do commercial= for monies or just hobby
which expertise you have with cars

etc

For hobbies and money

My car 1.3 cdti 70 hp stock.
Wants $ 200 to make 100 hp.
I want to increase the power of my own car.

Hobby and make money dont go together, you'll either be one of them that uses clones and claims to be professional or you will use genuine tools and be professional

whats your budget, $200 is not alot of money for remap from a pro

$ 100 budget.....

RE: Chiptuning help me - PopDog - 06-03-2018

For $100 you even don't get a file from a professional, only maybe from someone from here... even a good shitty chinese clone will cost you $100 so then you're atleast at +$200

Sorry but if you have a low budget like this then don't do chiptuning ... even your car can only get about +20-25 hp on the fiat multijet engine applied in your opel. when you have luck you will notice it a little...

also if you want to make $$ with it, you can't go with china clone. also when you apply something over obd and anything goes wrong with checksum, the car won't start and you nearly have no possibility to fix this... The support of the tool don't help you.. so you can bring it then to service and pay many many $$

Exactly, to do it as a hobby and maybe charge a few friends / family for a couple remaps on their cars you need atleast a reworked clone (£250 would be a realistic price)

then you need a good tuner, which vary largely in price

as 8baller says, at least you must have a good clone tool for not to have a problem.

after you can try to make money one by one for ppl around you to make more invest your hobby.
