Here is a quick workaround:
You have to edit some data in the ETKA folders.

1. Search the following files in the ETKA folders
   Etka _User_au.ini
   Etka _User_se.ini
   Etka _User_sk.ini
   Etka _User_vw.ini

2. and paste the following information at "POI"
   Account = Etka
   User = Etka- Client
   password = Passw*rd
   
   Note: Sometimes * don't work, so please insert o instead of *

   Depending on the operating system, from time to time the plain names 
   are not recognized, therefore the following data should be used:

   account = BE1E75CD9AB8B7C3
   user = BE1E75CD9AB8B7C3
   password = BE1E75CD9AB8B7C3

For anyone who had already tried to update to ETKA 8.1 and can't finish the setup, here is a possible solution.



!!! Before you start please make a backup of you ETKA Folder !!

1. Prerequisite:  The folder "C:\ETKA\PROG\IX\" is available in your ETKA Folder.

2. Copy the contents of the folder "C:\ETKA\PROG\IX\PROG\"   to   "C:\ETKA\PROG1\" and overwrite the existing files.

3. Copy the contents of the folder "C:\ETKA\PROG\IX\DATA\"   to   "C:\ETKA\DATA\" and overwrite the existing files.

Now ETKA 8.1 should start without any problem. Maybe the solution for missing user data has to be done now.
