I have the following error even though I changed the INI files
IniFile: the C: \ ETKA \ Prog \ etka_vw.ini
UserIni: MsgTextclient (the C: \ ETKA \ Prog \ etka_vw.ini)
click OK and then takes off another error: No Ini for Provide
press OK then another error crashes: No USER-INI
click OK, then another error crashes:
CDS file not found:
C: \ ETKA \ Prog \ Modell7.cds

It was automatically downloaded after click on button Install ETKA 8.1.

I Jumped thru all of the hoops... managed to upgrade to 8.1 and get the Audi updates to work... program was running... And updating Seat & Skoda... then it said something along the lines that PROG was already in use and needed to close to update... I closed ETKA 8.1, and I am also getting a quick pop up window "MFC-Anwendung ETKA has stopped working" and the window disappears, AND the program never runs...
Anybody figure out a solution for this??

Just do same thing as in post #178 the copy fix from ix/prog it worked for me

Well, I followed "post #178"...
When I click on the new " EtStartn.exe" new shortcut, i literally get a SMALL window to pop up and them it disappears... I dont even get a chance to read what the window says...
remember, "I managed to upgrade to 8.1 and get the Audi updates to work... program was running..."
and then it FORCED me to close it to continue updating it... now it does not open at all
Help?

Use WINRAR or 7-ZIP to decompress the Files or you'll get "Wrong Password" Error !
