You say you get this "MFC-Anwendung ETKA has stopped working'' i had this error few times i did the copy fix more than once and it worked everytime for me. I am using win7 SP1 x64 hope this helps you

All PMS are answered, but nearly 40% of the "Requesters" have PM Receiving disabled.
I can't send you the pass when you disabled "Receive private messages from other users." in
your Forum User Options ! If you like to have the password, enable PM Receiving and send
your Password Request again via PM.

Mega (the site) allows you to download all the files by using their desktop app..
So download the app, login with a free account and proceed with...

However, i followed all the instructions you´ve gave...
Fix the problem with the patch..
then installed etka...
after then, installed the application64 (i use windows 10 64bits)
but... there is a problem: when starting ETKA, there is displayed a message box....
"Path not found"...
what steps am I supposed to follow to solve this?

Edit: this problem was solved with the FIX-PATH-NOT-FOUND.rar ... thanks...
but there is another problem:
A message box that says i can´t use VW-AUDI-SEAT-SKODA trademarks because the data of ETKA has expired. And instructs to update the ETKA...
but, when i try to update, there is another following message:
"C:\ETKA\DATA\VW\Data1\upd???0.log does not exist... (same happens with AU-SE-SK files)

I have downloaded all the updates With the KrazytHeBoy´s app... (all of them)
but when i click into "run etka" it keeps displaying the same message: "C:\ETKA\DATA\VW\Data1\upd???0.log does not exist... (same happens with AU-SE-SK files) and then, once again, display tjhe message box put below...
What can i do then?

I followed the installation instructions from the website. installations was successful and I fixed the "path not found' error. When I open ETKA, I get the update error. The Update shortcut on desktop opens but doesn't have any files.

Did you try the data and prices updater??? Do these fail?? Only working for updates made for 8.0 I believe.
For 8.1 updates, you need to do what OP said (copy paste from folders). Then there is one new step (app) which is for the newer updates (Google it).
My laptop charger has died so I can't help more.

Remember, this is a free solution. ETKA works fine on most computers,
it is up to your setup. Not all configurations could be tested in advance.
