Is running on Win XP, has anyone already tested?
Can be run also too, someone has already tried, if yes, how?

I finally got it to install ETKA 8.1 after 2 months Goggling and posting questions on forums. When I do a rebuild that leaves the ETKA folder behind. I just install the tricks/tips and it works.

Installing ETKA81_Installation.exe

The message said On this system no ETKA8 installation found, The installation will be aborted. Obviously there is something missing from the registry. I decided to burn the ETKA Plus 8.0 03/2018 iso file to a DVD.

The old ETKA 7.5 Plus 2016 burnt to a 4.7GB DVD. I tried to burn ETKA 8.0 Plus 03-2018 iso and it said no enough space on media I had to use 8.5GB DVD. What size DVD did you guys use?

I renamed C:\ETKA folder to ETKA2 so as it would corrupt my existing files.

After 3.5 hours installing ETKA 8 which is a very long process, downloaded all missing updates. There were 40 files in each section.

I tried to install ETKA81_Installation.exe before the message pops up. The message said:

EKTA 8.1 application can not be installed on your computer

Reason: This system has not the needed update level, for ETKA 8.1 installation

ETKA 8.1 need the following update levels or higher

Audi 1231 that file is dated 27/06/2018 so why didn't this 8.1 update occur when I installed June/July updates stupid system?
Seat 757 that file is dated 27/06/2018
Skoda 763 that file is dated 27/06/2018
VW 1231 that file is dated 27/06/2018

I downloaded this weeks UK price files 833 and those installed. I renamed the new C:\ETKA to ETKA3 and changed my C:\ETKA folder back used my existing folder as I didn't want to waste time installing the 39 files in each folder. There were 11 files in my ETKA folders.

I installed ETKA81_Installation.exe and it installed correctly. About shows ETKA 8.1.0.4 it doesn't show Plus in the title bar as ETKA 7.5 did.

So will the next update come out next year?

Ok so its happened again, I have all the latest updates downloaded and installed but I can no longer open ETKA.
When I press on the ETKA shortcut on the desktop all I get is a small box flash up on screen which says 'Initialising' and then nothing. The program doesn't open.

Im running Windows 10 on a Virtual machine via Parallels on Mac.

Any idea how I can get ETKA running?

EDIT!

So I made a mistake and copied the IX/PROG to ETKA/PROG instead of PROG1.... just re did that and its working again!

hi i am trying to find how to update the data for etka 8.1
i am at 1252 but i don't find how download the new data and etka tell me "it's finish in 38 days"
does anybody can help me please ?

After a few hours, I finally got this thing to run on windows 10/32bit.
