VCM2 Ford error - v.v.nguyen.2628 - 10-04-2018
Hi everybody
I have some problems with my VCM2
I was a gifted friend and I made the ids ford install
but i have encountered an error, ids and vcm manager does not receive my vcm. I checked in the device manager to see the missing driver etas
So how can anyone help me?

Exclamation mark next to the device means either driver error or conflict with other peripheral. Double click on the device in 'Device Manager' and you should have a more detailed error with a code.

I tried everything but still did not work. I also tried resetting as the instructions on the net. I think the VCM was broken somewhere on the hardware, huhu

I am not very familiar with the VCM2. I just bought it myself. I've read there is a way to factory reset the tool. Perhaps some other members know the exact procedure.

I would suggest trying another laptop that doesn't have anything installed. As far as OEM programs. Turn off all antivirus program, do a tool reset, download drivers from bosch directly(google it, easy to find) and then try again. Always make sure that the VCM and the laptop have power and are connected to wall chargers and the VCM is connected to a car that is turned on to get full power. Try it on a windows 7 or windows 10.
