You mean each card working individually or you have both cards inserted at the same time so you can plan your journey, say from UK to Poland in my case, without swapping cards?

I have the same problem I cant get them to work at the same time. This year I will be driving from Uk to Greece so Ill have to swap them in Germany on my sleepover.
I got them on 4 SD cards coz I cant get them to work otherwise.
SD 1 2018 west
SD 2 2018 East
SD 3 Activator for 2018
SD 4 2017 east/west (itt doesnt matter)

the reason I have 2017 map on an SD is so I can downgrade from 2018 west, to 2017 to be able to install 2018 east. It wont let me to install 2018 east if my current maps are 2018 west for some reason!

You can't have West and East together in the MMI slots, MMI doesnt get that. It's either West or East and if you have used my FSC on West you should have no problem when switching to East.

So in short; you can use both sd cards, one at the time, but don't have to downgrade.
When you switch between cards its only saying, 2018 database already on the system, still update?
Click yes and its updating, restarting and other card is working.

So, if you install West 2018 and use the script to activate it, you don't be able to change to East 2018. It's still saying 'there's no update".

I have a solution but that's not at all We need a script to fix the main unit. I am working on it with a friend and will share here.
